Lumbini Adarsha Degree College is a renowned leading educational institution with multi-faculities such as Education, Arts, Management & Science. It was established in 2056(1999), in the middle part of Nepal (Kawasoti-5, Nawalparasi) to produce the excellent academic manpower as well as to support nation buildings from +2 level to Master Degree.
Nowadays most of the students who passed from this college, have been working in various sectors. In the glorious 12 years, the college has succeeded to establish itself as a reputed institution in the educational arena of Nepal.
Since the date of establishment, the college has become successful in different glorious achievements, five students from Post-Graduates (M.Ed) level obtained the merit marks and became succful to achieve the award from Nepal’s government “Nepal Bidhya Bhusan” ‘kha’. This is the most honoring and prestigious achievement that has made the entire family of college jubilant and proud.
At the existing time, the college is established as the National glory in academic field. MOre than 250 students are studying in Master (M.Ed) level representing more than four than dozens of districts. The product of this college have shown their worth from their careers as high level officials like CDO, DEO, School Inspectors, Trainers, Principals, Lectures, head teachers and other high level government officers even deputy secretary, branch officers etc working for the development and prosperity of nation.
Eligibility for Admission
A graduate with B.Ed degree either one year, two years or three years from Purbanchal University or a university recognized by Purbanchal University will be eligible to apply for admission in M.Ed. Programme.

Students can specialize in one of the following subjects provided that they have the basic level.
- Population and Environment Education.
- Education Planning and Management
- Health Education
- Nepali Educaton
- English Education
- Maths Education
In addition to specialization in any one subject, the students are required to conduct independent research work and participate in teaching and its related practicum. Both the thesis writing and practicum have to be related to the specialization area of the student.
Grading System
The grading system will be as prescribed by PU:
Third Division : 40% and above
Second Division : 50% and above
First Division : 60% and above
Distinction : 75% and above
